About the Camp

Kick start the 2026 season with this camp in sunny Tempe, Arizona.

Right Angle Performance coaches and some hard work on your part will lay the foundation for your season and seasons to come; while having fun!

This camp has a strong technical emphasis with eight on-water workouts and a video review session mid-week.  As racing is the perfect way to motivate, test and solidify what we learn in training, this camp culminates with racing at the Arizona Dragon Boat Festival, also on Tempe Town Lake, for those wishing to compete.

On the out-skirts of Phoenix, Tempe is easy to get to and offers warm, dry heat, great restaurants, golf courses (for non-paddling companions), hiking and many tourist attractions.

Accommodation and transportation:

Accommodation is not provided for this camp. Our suggestion is to book a property nearby on VRBO or AirBnB. There are some, but limited, nearby hotels that you can find in a hotel search. Our recommendation, book a place with a good cancellation policy so you’re covered and we can help you find other campers to share with. In addition, many, but not all, campers get together with roomies and rent cars. We can help facilitate you grouping with others for this too.

2026 Cancellation Policy:

Participants can cancel until December 15, 2025 and receive a full refund minus a 15% administration fee, payment system fees and shirt cost if after order submitted. No refunds will be given after December 15 in the case of participant cancellation, although a participant is welcome to find a replacement for themselves with no penalty.

In the case that the camp needs be cancelled due to situations outside the control of Right Angle Performance, due to a pandemic or otherwise, participants will be given a 50% cash refund.
