Dragon Boat Technique Weekend Camp

False Creek Racing Canoe Club

Join us for a full weekend of hands-on, comprehensive dragon boat technique training at the False Creek Racing Canoe Club.

This immersive clinic is designed to help paddlers build a deeper understanding of efficient movement, power application, and boat feel. Participants will be on the water twice each day, applying technique in real time, and will also take part in a dedicated video review session to reinforce learning and accelerate improvement.

Learn from the Best

This unique training opportunity is led by athletes and coaches from the FCRCC Premier Dragon Boat Program—widely recognized as one of the top programs in the world. Many of its paddlers are World Championship athletes and medalists.

Leading the clinic is Kamini Jain, alongside Andrea Dillon—both National and International Dragon Boat Hall of Fame inductees. Kamini will serve as the lead coach for the weekend.

Who Should Attend

All levels of paddlers are welcome—from those building foundational skills to experienced athletes looking to refine technique and gain a competitive edge.

Cancellation policy: 85% refund until August 20. After this date, there will be no refunds, regardless of whether organizers are able to fill your spot. However, registrations are transferable to someone else of your own finding. Failure to attend the event without prior cancellation, forfeits all fees paid.
