About the Camp
Kick start the 2023 season with this camp in sunny Tempe, Arizona.
Right Angle Performance coaches and some hard work on your part will lay the foundation for your season and seasons to come; while having fun!
This camp has a strong technical emphasis with eight on-water workouts and a video review session mid-week. As racing is the perfect way to motivate, test and solidify what we learn in training, this camp culminates with racing at the Arizona Dragon Boat Festival, also on Tempe Town Lake, for those wishing to compete.
On the out-skirts of Phoenix, Tempe is easy to get to and offers warm, dry heat, great restaurants, golf courses (for non-paddling companions), hiking and many tourist attractions.

Registration includes camp, a racing jersey and the weekend regatta. A jersey and racing is only guaranteed for those registered before February 6, 2023, but may be available.

Accommodation suggestions: I recommend making travel arrangements early and with favourable cancellation policies. This time of the year can get very busy with baseball spring training and dragon boat teams booking for the regatta weekend. For accommodation, I recommend either renting a house and sharing a car with other participants or staying at a nearby hotel. For property rentals, I have found VRBO.(https://www.vrbo.com ) and AirBnB (https://www.airbnb.ca; https://www.airbnb.com ) both have many great rental places. 2023 Cancellation Policy:
Participants who register with payment, not credits, can cancel until January 15, 2023 and receive a full refund minus a 10% administration fee. From January 16-February 5, cancellations receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given after February 5 in the case of participant cancellation.
Participants who register with 2020 credits will receive their choice of a full credit refund or 50% cash refund if they cancel before January 15. In the case that the camp needs be cancelled due to situations outside the control of Right Angle Performance, due to COVID-19 or otherwise, participants will be given a full refund in the way paid (cash or credit) minus any expenses incurred on behalf of individual paddlers until that point, for example, race jerseys and regatta entry fees.
