  • Start your steering journey. Introduction to Steering Course.

    Sunday, June 16

Don’t worry, you won’t be steering in the pictured Hawaiian waters in this clinic, but every steersperson’s journey starts here, with a solid introductory course. So many paddlers start steering by being thrown in the back of a canoe to sink or swim. Learn real skills to set you up to develop quicker and more effectively. Consider, also, learning to steer is not just for those who yearn to be a steersperson. All outrigger paddlers who wish to be more valuable team members in other seats, will benefit from knowing how to steer.

Included in this course is Cheryl’s June 9 seminar, Making Magic in Outrigger Crews. You will be emailed your access link. Please do not register separately for the seminar.

This course will have 1 instructor for every 6 participants. It will been spec canoes.

Do you consider yourself beyond beginner but with still a lot to learn? Email Kamini to see if you can be fit into this course with a higher level of instruction.
